My name is Hajara and even though I was born and bred in Ogbomosho, Nigeria – my family come from the Fula tribe bordering Nigeria & Chad . The exact problem I was Having Were
- Thick dandruff – I had terrible dandruff the type that when you scratch it off blood comes out and it itches like crazy
- Thinning edges – the two sides of my head looked like the back of a porcelain plate – shinny with no single hair
- Decreased hair thickness – the volume in my hair was gone and the hair was limp and lifeless.
- Increased hair coarseness – my hair had become very coarse and unmanageable
She concluded it is imbalance in my hormones that was causing this hair loss.
She advised that I stop combing my hair and wearing wigs – and eat more green vegetables if I wanted to save my own hair. Which I did but ….
By my 33rd birthday my grandfather passed on and we all had to travel to Maiduguri for his burial, a truly painful time for us especially because I had not been to visit for over 10 years – I always promised to visit but just did not have the time because of work.
Anyway back to my story, got to Maduguri and we successfully buried grandpa, 2 days after the burial my grandmother a 72 year old woman woke me up and gave me a local organic shampoo and a pomade for my hair.
